Global Head of Achieving operational excellence at Siemens Healthineers
André Steinbuss has spent almost ten years in various positions in marketing with a focus on diagnostic imaging at Siemens Healthineers. André graduated in medical technology engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Luebeck. Before joining marketing, he spent ten years in research and development in the hearing instrument business of Siemens. During this time, he has authored multiple patents and publications.

Senior Vice President, Quality and Safety Operations, Jefferson Health 
Josh led the implementation of the OnPoint Program for Advancing Care Excellence which included design and deployment of an industry-leading serious safety event review program, enterprise escalating huddles, an organizational learning and triage platform and a state-of-the-art enterprise analytics platform. Josh has participated in National Quality Forum Action Teams for both Opioid Safety and Medication Safety and is a Faculty Improvement Advisor for the Institute of Healthcare Improvement.
Josh obtained his RN and Master of Healthcare Administration degrees from Jefferson College of Health Sciences. After ten years of critical care nursing at academic medical centers in Virginia and New York City, Josh transitioned his focus to the science of healthcare delivery. He helped lead a quality and safety transformation at Virginia’s second largest health system which included one of the only Applied Human Factors departments in the country. His work to integrate translational Human Factors within clinical operations was recognized by the National Quality Forum, Next Generation Innovator Award. His work to design and deploy the OnPoint Program was recognized by ECRI, 2021 Safety Excellence Award.

Dr. Henwood leads Jefferson’s nationally awarded OnPoint quality and safety program across the 17-hospital system. Her career has focused on a multidisciplinary approach to improving  are quality and building more effective systems globally and locally, with a focus on improving outcomes and reducing care disparities for vulnerable populations. Dr. Henwood has worked in multiple countries developing partnerships with numerous hospitals, universities, local public health departments, and ministries of health targeted to advance emergency care, outbreak response, and imaging capacity. Her field-based research focused on quality improvement, infectious disease, and point-of-care ultrasound. Dr. Henwood attended Georgetown University (BA, Government), Jefferson’s Sidney Kimmel Medical College (MD), and trained at the Harvard-Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency at Massachusetts General and Brigham and Women’s Hospitals where she served as chief resident. She completed a fellowship in Emergency Ultrasound with a focus on global health at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She held various faculty and clinical leadership roles at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School based in the Department of Emergency Medicine prior to joining Jefferson in 2019.

Thought Leadership Manager for Achieving operational excellence at Siemens Healthineers 
Joanne has had sixteen years of marketing experience in Siemens Healthineers as marketing director for the diagnostics division based in New York, and as Head of Marketing for ASEAN countries based in Singapore. Joanne graduated from UCLA with a degree in molecular biology. Before joining Siemens Healthineers, Joanne was a research scientist in Quest Diagnostics (formerly Celera) and has authored multiple publications.
