Cardiovascular MRI offers you valuable information for a number of sophisticated clinical questions, as well as excellent soft tissue differentiation, high spatial and temporal resolution, and 3D and 4D data acquisition. Today, MRI is widely regarded as one of the most comprehensive diagnostic tools in cardiology, but also as a highly complex examination. Siemens helps you bring cardiac MRI into your clinical routine.
A dedicated MRI scanner designed to meet the demands of cardiovascular examinations
MAGNETOM Sola Cardiovascular Edition
Outcome relevant decisions – redefining patient pathways
MAGNETOM Sola Cardiovascular Edition automatically adjusts to patient biovariability to overcome unwarranted variations in cardiac MRI examinations.
- Free breathing exams with Compressed Sensing Cardiac Cine
- Tissue characterization with MyoMaps and HeartFreeze
- Consistent results, fast with BioMatrix Sensors and Cardiac Dot Engine
Compressed Sensing Cardiac Cine
Enables high-quality diagnostic imaging, even in patients with arrhythmias and those who cannot hold their breath.
Compressed Sensing supports segmented Cine imaging in high spatial and temporal resolution with very short breath-holds. The Compressed Sensing real-time technique enables high-quality diagnostic imaging in free-breathing. These techniques can dramatically speed up cardiac scans, increase efficiency and expand the patient population eligible for Cardiac MRI.
Enables Late Gadolinium Enhancement (LGE) imaging in free-breathing.
Available on BioMatrix systems, PSIR HeartFreeze1,2 with motion compensation algorithms enables high-resolution LGE imaging in free-breathing for viability assessment, even in patients with arrhythmias and those who cannot hold their breath.
Enables pixel-based quantitation of myocardial tissue for the differential diagnosis of myocardial disease.
Used together with HeartFreeze, our motion correction algorithm, MyoMaps supports the inline generation of T1, T2 and T2* colored parametric maps. MyoMaps helps distinguish between various myocardial pathologies, e.g. detecting myocardial inflammation (T1 Map); depicting cardiac edema (T2 Map); and improving early detection of iron overload (T2* Map)
Cardiac Dot Engine
Enables a comprehensive Cardiac MR examination in less than 30 minutes.
This Siemens-unique Cardiac Dot Engine is a highly automated tool to help plan and execute CMR examinations. Using AI-powered algorithms such as AutoAlign, the Cardiac Dot Engine enables automatic planning of all cardiac views for standardized, reproducible cardiac scans. Step-by-step guidance takes the complexity out of cardiac exams and contributes to speed and efficiency.
Angio Dot Engine
Enables acquiring optimally timed contrast images with interactive bolus timing.
Achieve consistent contrast agent timing with every Angio examination. Deliver clear answers to your referring physicians, read and report MR Angio cases performed consistently with optimized kinetic timing.
Enables a completely new non-contrast MR Angiography technique.
QISS aids in improving patient safety and compliance for higher accuracy3 and better disease management, while maintaining the diagnostic certainty you need in peripheral MRA exams.
