The Harley Street Clinic, part of HCA Healthcare UK (HCA UK) is expanding its scanning capabilities with the first SOMATOM X.ceed from Siemens Healthineers in the UK private sector. Used to support the diagnosis and monitoring of conditions, including in oncology, cardiology and neurology, and to guide treatment plans, the new system reflects a shared commitment to delivering high-quality care with innovative medical technology.
The SOMATOM X.ceed will offer more precise imaging and support clinicians at The Harley Street Clinic with time-critical situations, particularly in trauma and brain haemorrhage, as well as cardiac care. It comes with two unique ‘companions’ to further support clinicians when imaging patients. Pushing the boundaries of digitisation, myExam Companion turns data into built-in expertise to reduce unwarranted variations by unlocking the full potential of the SOMATOM X.ceed automatically. During CT-guided interventions, myNeedle Companion offers comprehensive support with integrated lasers to project the needle entry point and insertion angle on to the patient.
