How to set yourself up for a successful implementation: Be sure that you and your team are familiar with these key milestones. This will help your requirements be met during the implementation of your new equipment.

Powerful Performance

Your sales representative or project manager will schedule a presale visit with you to discuss your workflow and delivery needs. From this, we will create a detailed sketch of your existing space.

Why this matters: The results of this meeting will guide the scope of work for your delivery (including approximate delivery time frame, weekend or weekday, and delivery path). We will also produce a set of preliminary drawings detailing the layout of your room.

What you need to do: Please invite both your clinical and engineering teams to this meeting.

Tip: Involve your project/account manager as early as possible for project planning.

Incredible Versatility

During the presale phase, once your preliminary drawings are complete, your project manager will forward you a copy and set up a meeting (either in person or via phone) to review. Please relay any concerns or questions to your project manager.

Why this matters: Preliminary drawings provide important information about your equipment layout and your space, which will be used to create your final drawings.

What you need to do: Please review these documents and send your written approval to your project manager. This acknowledges your acceptance of the drawings. The approval can be a signature on the selected preliminary drawing, or an email referring to the drawing number and revision/option.

Exceptional Ease-of-use

The final drawings include mechanical, electrical, architectural, structural, and environmental details related to your room and system. These must be incorporated into your construction or architectural site plans.

Why this matters: These plans contain specific requirements that need to be fulfilled by your room for optimum system performance.

What you need to do: You should now review the final drawings with your team and 3. Party Suppliers to make sure they are accurate.

Tip: Remember that the final drawings from Siemens Healthineers cannot be substituted for formal construction or architectural documents.

Exceptional Ease-of-use

Your new equipment is built to order based on your specific requirements. Your project manager will work closely with you and your team throughout this process to review all deadlines. This is your last opportunity to make changes. This confirms your approval of our proposed room and workflow layout as well as the equipment production schedule.

Why this matters: With this information, the factory can begin production and will provide the delivery date for your equipment. Certain inventory and storage charges may be incurred in the event that your site is unable to accept delivery on the agreed delivery date.

What you need to do: Review these documents for accuracy. Please advise the contractor that any construction delay could have financial consequences for your practice.

Exceptional Ease-of-use

Prior to installation, our Clinical Education team will contact you/your facility to review the Clinical Education you have purchased. After this call, you will receive an email and confirmation, which will help you prepare for your onsite training.

Why this matters: Getting you and your staff up to speed quickly and efficiently is vital to your success. Clinical Education can help achieve this goal.

What you need to do: Review the site readiness documents in advance of your onsite training. Make sure the right team members are available to be trained on the system.
