Replanning on the spot – to adapt your treatment
Integrated in Siemens’ IM-RealART Solution, the replanning software RealART* allows you to make Adaptive Radiation Therapy (ART) your daily routine. Taking interfraction changes in patient anatomy into account, the automatic tumor targeting makes it easy for you to adapt therapy for each fraction, throughout the complete treatment cycle.

Fast replanning with aperture morphing

After dropping the contours from the planning CT to the pretreatment image and adapting them to the actual tumor shape, RealART calculates MLC aperture morphing, based on the Beam’s Eye Views (BEVs) of the old and new tumor shape. RealART immediately creates a new plan including new leaf sequences.

Comprehensive DVH analysis to precisely replan dose

During replanning, RealART creates a new dose-volume histogram (DVH) summarizing all important information about dose distribution in one single window. For comprehensive DVH analysis, it shows different behavior for different fractions and percent volume overlaps (PVO) graphically and statistically.
