What is the subject of the new agreement?

Under the new agreement, Sysmex and Siemens Healthineers will supply each other with their products in the diagnostic field of hemostasis on an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) basis. The two companies will be able to distribute globally and individually, under their respective brands, their combined portfolio of hemostasis instruments and reagents in combination with their own broader portfolios of products and services.

What does the new agreement mean for me as a Siemens Healthineers hemostasis customer?

For existing customers, nothing changes. You will still receive the same proven service and high-quality products from the combined portfolio of Siemens Healthineers and Sysmex you've come to know and trust. Siemens Healthineers will remain your strong partner for hemostasis solutions. Our future hemostasis offering will enable you to further integrate hemostasis testing into the broader in vitro diagnostics portfolio of Siemens Healthineers products, including chemistry, immunoassay, urinalysis, hematology, automation, and IT solutions. The new agreement allows us to strengthen our overall offering and continue to provide you with a high-quality, competitive portfolio of hemostasis testing solutions on a global scale.

I am not yet a Siemens Healthineers hemostasis customer. Will it be possible purchase hemostasis testing solutions from Siemens Healthineers in my country?

Absolutely! In the future, it will be possible to purchase a full hemostasis portfolio and related service worldwide from Siemens Healthineers and combine them with our comprehensive portfolio of lab solutions, including automation, IT, and service enhanced by our expertise to support you in workflow optimization. Hemostasis products and services from Siemens Healthineers will become available in accordance with the new OEM Agreement and once the country-specific requirements are met.
