WakeMedInnovative relationship to advance care and improve outcomes
Value Partnership Overview
Launched in 2020, Siemens Healthineers and WakeMed Health & Hospitals established a 10-year, patient-focused, Value Partnership to innovate care delivery and improve patient outcomes. Through this combined effort, WakeMed has introduced new robotics initiatives, state-of-the-art imaging capabilities and artificial intelligence as well as advanced provider and staff training, providing outstanding care to the community.
WakeMed serves as a best-in-class cardiovascular laboratory and is home to Corindus Training Academy – a workforce development program and training site for advanced imaging and robotic intervention innovations. The opportunity to launch a biomedical workforce development program incorporating WakeMed and Siemens Healthineers employees allows for constant resource development and advanced training.
“Our shared vision for the future helps us accelerate innovation and support positive health outcomes for our over one million patient visits per year, especially in the area of cardiovascular interventions and care.”
