This section of the Cookie Policy applies to the Workday website provided by Workday Inc. and operated by the Siemens Healthineers company.
When you enter the Workday Service via its website, information is stored on your terminal device in the form of a "cookie." Cookies are small files that are stored on your terminal device and save certain settings and data to exchange with the Workday Service website via your browser.
Absolutely necessary cookies
are used by the Workday Service for:
- Type 1: Storing a session identifier
- Type 2: Saving application state to the client during the client's session
- Type 3: Storing routing information used by the infrastructure.
The cookies of type 1 and 2 are session cookies and expire at the end of each session. The cookies of type 3 store only the minimum necessary data for the client to resolve to the appropriate tenant. This cookie does not expire, as it is used on subsequent connections to the Service.
What happens if I deactivate cookies?
Deactivating cookies might lead to malfunction of the Workday Service as the above mentioned purposes can’t be achieved. We would recommend to use the Private-Browsing functionality of your browser if you are concerned about cookie storage.
This Cookie Policy is updated from time to time. You will find the date of the latest update at the top of this page.
