Siemens Healthineers announced today that the CN-3000 and CN-6000 automated hemostasis analyzers for mid- and high-volume laboratories are now available for patient testing in the United States. Hemostasis testing helps identify abnormal blood clotting or bleeding. To help laboratories manage growing workloads and complex hemostasis testing, the CN-3000 and CN-6000 systems bring clotting, chromogenic, immunoassay, and platelet aggregation1 methodologies onto a single compact platform that is up to 60% smaller than others on the market.2
A broad menu of routine and specialty assays enables laboratories to consolidate testing and support high testing volumes. The systems also can connect to existing track-based laboratory automation and Atellica Data Manager, helping laboratories centralize instrument oversight, access testing analytics, and standardize operations across multiple testing sites.

Hemostasis testing supports clinical decisions related to surgery, anticoagulation therapy, and bleeding disorders. For health systems with multiple laboratory sites, the CN-3000 and CN-6000 Systems help standardize testing through common reagents, consumables, workflows, and user interfaces. Consistent testing processes can help achieve greater cost savings while supporting a more uniform experience for staff and patients across the care network.
Less time spent on routine instrument management allows laboratory professionals to spend more time focused on high-value tasks. The CN-3000 and CN-6000 systems reduce hands-on instrument management with automated features such as predictive reagent management, automated repeat and reflex testing, advanced pre-analytical sample assessment, and onboard guidance that assists staff in identifying and resolving issues. Large onboard reagent and consumable capacity support up to 13 hours of walkaway time for increased productivity/run time with minimal staff intervention.
