In collaboration with Mayo Clinic, Siemens is offering MR Elastography for MAGNETOM Aera und MAGNETOM Skyra. As a result of this cooperation, a new MRI-based tool to help the physician non-invasively assess relative stiffness of liver tissue. Furthermore this represents a new approach of improved treatment decisions, especially for liver tissue. The MR Elastography package includes hardware and software.
