Osteoarthrose

The degenerative joint disease osteoarthritis is characterized by a breakdown of cartilage over time. This leads to pain, loss of mobility, and decreased quality of life in patients.  
It is a leading cause of disability globally, over 20% of adults 40+ suffering from osteoarthritis. 
Monitoring the state of knee cartilage for these patients is possible but is cumbersome and time intensive.
