Pre-conference Workshop on PCCT
Photon-Counting CT: Multidisciplinary Clinical Applications with Hands-on Experience

Photon-counting CT (PCCT) is transforming clinical CT imaging through improved spatial resolution, spectral imaging capabilities, enhanced tissue characterization, lower radiation dose, and the potential for contrast medium dose optimisation. Since the installation of the Siemens NAEOTOM Alpha at Sengkang General Hospital, our institution has accumulated more than two years of multidisciplinary clinical experience across a broad range of applications.
Faculty from neuro-head and neck, cardiac, body, and musculoskeletal imaging will share real-world clinical experience, highlighting current applications and emerging opportunities of this technology. The workshop will include multidisciplinary case discussions and a hands-on session, allowing participants to review representative PCCT datasets and gain practical experience in image interpretation and post-processing. Fundamental principles of photon-counting CT technology and spectral imaging will be introduced during the opening physics session, providing the foundation for the subsequent clinical presentations.
The workshop is designed for radiologists, trainees, radiographers, and medical physicists seeking a practical understanding of the clinical applications, implementation strategies, and future directions of photon-counting CT in routine clinical practice.

Dr Ho Chi Long
Senior Consultant Radiologist
Department of Cardiothoracic and Abdominal Radiology Sengkang General Hospital; Clinical Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School
Dr Ho holds the FRCR (UK) and M.Med (Surgery), and is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching across Duke-NUS, NUS, and NTU.
Dr Ho has a strong clinical and research interest in neuroradiology and emergency radiology, and leads several funded projects as principal investigator including AI-augmented imaging for neurological diseases. He has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and continues to contribute to advancing clinical radiology through innovation, research, and education.

Prostate MRI Decoded: From PIRADS to Real World Practice

This hands-on workshop, held in conjunction with AOCR 2026, is designed to enhance diagnostic accuracy and confidence in prostate MRI interpretation across varying levels of experience. The course features a structured series of didactic lectures covering essential topics including prostate MRI protocols, PI-RADS assessment, common pitfalls and clinically relevant reporting strategies.
A highlight of the workshop is a dedicated session on radiologic - pathologic correlation, focusing on atypical and challenging prostate pathologies encountered on MRI. Through carefully curated case studies, participants will gain deeper insights into imaging appearances and strategies to avoid diagnostic errors.
By integrating foundational knowledge with advanced interpretation skills, this workshop aims to provide a practical, case-based learning experience that radiologists and urologists can readily apply in daily clinical practice.
