Statement - COVID-19 Business Impact

Siemens Healthineers is continuously assessing the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and adapting our business operations in line with government guidance within England, Ireland and the devolved nations. We continue to deliver both essential and critical support services, working closely with the NHS, HSE and other care providers as well as our industry partners.

In this dynamic and fast-moving situation, we remain committed to protecting the health and wellbeing of our employees and others, while continuing to focus on enabling our customers to deliver safe and effective patient care. We recognise that our customers and their patients are reliant on Siemens Healthineers to provide critical services to support the efforts in combating and treating this disease. We have also scaled up our service operations to conduct essential assignments, in addition to critical tasks, such as those impacting customer operations and workflow.

A large proportion of Siemens Healthineers’ workforce is able to work from home and they continue to do so. The flexibility shown by our staff, in addition to enhancements in our remote working infrastructure, have allowed us to successfully maintain business continuity while also enabling essential front-line work to continue. We regularly assess the suitability of ongoing homeworking for all staff members, to provide additional support where needed, and in preparation for any future government guidance on a phased return into the workplace.

Siemens Healthineers’ dedication to supporting the crisis effort is our absolute priority and we are not experiencing any significant interruptions to supply or delivery due to COVID-19. We continue to deliver on our commitment to customers, whether related to the pandemic or in the restoration of routine care. Beyond the deployment of our existing portfolio Siemens Healthineers also continues to innovate with the development of new tools for the detection and diagnosis of the disease.
