Individual Training & Hands-on Simulation: Imaging, Transcatheter Techniques and Technologies for Cardiac Surgeons
In simulated cath lab conditions, participants extend their knowledge in working with transcatheter technologies, starting with accessing and closing the vessels, angiographic projections, proper selection and handling of catheter materials to complication management, and transcatheter valve technologies. Small learning group sizes allow instruction to be highly individual; groups are assisted by a highly experienced team of cardiologists and cardiac surgeons. This training also includes basic principles of radiation protection.
