Artis zee systems are designed to exceed the imaging requirements of surgery, interventional cardiology, and radiology, and provide free access to the patient for the anaesthesiologist. Hybrid rooms enable elective image-guided surgery, one-stop pre- and post-operative imaging, and endovascular therapy.

Equipped with two flat detectors, the Artis zee biplane system offers excellent coverage and flexibility for the applications spectrum of diagnostics and interventions in neuro, spine, abdominal, and pediatric imaging. The system delivers images with fine detail resolution to support you in your decision-making with it’s powerful biplane 2k matrix.

The Artis zee biplane system provides easy, fast handling and streamlined workflow by combining compact and rotating detectors in both planes including lateral detector rotation that tracks the table as it is tilted. The compact and rotating detectors, enable virtually unrestricted patient access while offering outstanding angulation and exceptional coverage capabilities.

The mixed detector biplane system provides the flexibility of a second working position with the floor-mounted detector to the left of the imaging table. Enabling full body imaging and virtually unrestricted head access, the Artis zee biplane systems provide the optimum imaging coverage of the patient. 

With the Artis zee biplane with mixed detectors, both C-arms can be rotated by 90° in less than 8 seconds, quickly moving the large detector to the lateral position when clinically required.

A single press of a button enables outstanding functionality.

“IsoTilt” keeps the projection during Trendelenburg tilting and eliminates the need for time- and dose-consuming readjustments. 

Artis zee features configurable, intuitive syngo icons which are easy to use. The complete system can be controlled from the table-side with the ergonomical designed touch screen and the mouse like joystick. The mouse-like control is easier to operate, and with its modular design, can be flexibly positioned to maximize operator comfort. The slimline control module allows the operator to get closer to the table and allows easier patient access. 

The new menu-driven workflow enables faster acquisition and display of 3D images. To improve efficiency, the system automatically moves into the start position, eliminating the time-consuming need for the operator to select the position manually. High-contrast 3D results are available in real time, soft tissue results in less than a minute.

An integrated laser crosshair enhances needle guidance workflow with syngo iGuide by reducing radiation and procedure time.

With the Artis zee Large Display, Siemens features a full-color 56-inch medical-grade screen that lets you view multiple inputs simultaneously and provides over 200 layout configurations. Up to 12 different screen combinations can be directly selected at tableside and the image of clinical focus can be zoomed up to twice the size of a standard display. The Artis zee Large Display gives you the whole picture.

The specially designed tilting table with radio lucent table top and head-down, head-up, and lateral tilting capabilities is completely integrated in the system design. It provides full collision protection and can be integrated in the predefined system positions. The table can be rotated for additional patient access.

Artis zee supports OR specific accessories, including heated mattresses and anesthesia curtain holders. The table support rails accommodate arm supports, head holders, anesthesia equipment, infusion bottle holders, trays, and other surgical equipment.
