Web-based Training

A web-based training is a self-paced online learning which is approximately 30 to 60 minutes in duration. It is a convenient way to receive continuing education credits, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, when, where, and how you need it.

Virtual Instructor-led Training

A virtual instructor-led training is a Category A accredited online class which is 60-90 minutes in duration. In an interactive virtual classroom environment you will receive high-quality training delivered by an experienced Siemens Clinical Education Specialist.

3D Basic Concepts
Course Description:

This e.learning will discuss the definition of 3D and help the technologist understand what parameters are required for an optimal data set, learn the strengths and weaknesses of various rendering modes, and also learn basic post-processing tools.

 
3D Techniques for CT
Course Description:

This e.learning is designed to provide imaging professionals with an overview of 3D imaging techniques for computed tomography. The content addresses concepts of 3D image generation, post-processing techniques, and treatment applications.


An Overview of Radiation Therapy
Course Description:

This e.learning course will offer an overview for radiological technologists, multimodality technologists, or anyone with an interest in radiation therapy basics.


CT for the Hybrid Imaging Technologist
Course Description:

This e.learning will provide an understanding of the basics of CT imaging and how it is used in hybrid imaging. The basic differences and advantages of sequence versus spiral CT imaging, single slice versus multislice CT, and reconstruction parameters and how to use them to improve image quality will also be discussed.

Course Description:
This e.learning is designed for the technologist who needs to learn the history, basic principles of CT, basic physics, and a brief overview of image reconstruction parameters for image optimization.

Course Description:

This e.learning will address the fundamentals of radiation protection and safety and how they relate to the occupational worker. It will also discuss how radiation protection affects image quality.

  

MR Imaging in Oncology
Course Description:

This e.learning is designed so that the user will understand the emerging role that MR has for oncology in guiding the direction of treatment decisions and delivery. The various types of diagnostic imaging sequences as well as functional, biological, and available advanced imaging techniques will be discussed. Students will also understand MR’s role in therapeutic imaging and the various diagnostic equipment and post processing software that can be utilized.

 syngo® TrueD™
Class Description:

The virtual instructor-led e.class is designed for new users of the syngo TrueD application. This course will assist the user in understanding how the syngo TrueD application can be used to improve workflow. The course will cover getting started using the syngo TrueD configuration. We will then proceed to loading images, image registration, viewing images, manipulation of the rotating MIP, drawing contours and then creating a report.
