Susan Dawson MBA, MT(ASCP) is the Lab Director of Swedish Hospital, part of the North Shore University Health System serving the greater Chicago area. Susan oversees all laboratory operations at Swedish hospital and her career includes more than 30 years of experience managing patient testing with a strong focus on chemistry, immunochemistry, hematology, hemostasis, and microbiology testing. She is a constant adopter of innovation and has presented internationally on numerous occasions on the experience and best practices of laboratory automation and IT. Susan has an MBA with distinction from North Park University and a B.A., in Medical Technology from Augustana College.
