Image guided therapy with fewer manual steps
For each procedure step you can combine a multitude of system settings and turn them into a time-saving, individualized Case Flows, available with one click.

Set the system to the requirements of each procedure step once in terms of C-arm position, angulation and SID, imaging parameters and zoom, display layout and input selection and others.

With Case Flows you can activate these settings with a single touch and thereby eliminate up to six manual system interactions.

Structure Scout enables improved device visibility supporting ALARA dose due to material-specific optimization of imaging parameters.

With new devices and new materials appearing all the time, image-guided therapy is facing new challenges. Structure Scout adjusts the X-ray spectrum to material-specific acquisition parameters and optimizes visibility of materials, devices, vessels, and background structures independent of procedure or material type with our embedded structure-sensitive algorithm.

Generate 3D acquisitions with excellent spatial and soft tissue resolution whatever your clinical case is. With up to 95°/s rotation speed, ARTIS icono systems can acquire syngo DynaCT images in just 2.5 seconds with fewer motion artifacts and less use of contrast media.5 Simple and fast 3D imaging from head to toe with 200° rotation range gives you confidence in procedure planning. 

Precise system movements
Precision is key to improve the workflow in complex procedures. The reuse of vessel maps for DSA and 3D Roadmap even after C-arm and table movements speeds up the intervention and reduces dose and use of contrast media. ARTIS icono supports this with a (re)positioning accuracy of better than 0.5 mm.

        The constant CNR is achieved within the physical limit of the x-ray tube. The dose reductions were achieved with the CNR-driven exposure control comparing to the detector dose-driven exposure control for the case when 80 nGy/frame yields clinically sufficient CNR at 25 cm patient equivalent thickness. They were obtained using a phantom composed of PMMA and aluminum plates to reproduce x-ray absorption and scattering in 2.5-19 cm and 20-25 cm of patient equivalent thickness, here referred as low and medium attenuations, respectively. Contrast produced by a 0.25 mm thick iron foil, located in the isocenter, and the surrounding noise were measured.
