BLADE Diffusion

    BLADE Diffusion is TGSE based diffusion technique. By performing diffusion imaging with a non-EPI sequence, geometric distortions are eliminated in areas with large susceptibility changes such as the sinuses and the inner auditory canal. BLADE diffusion is recommended in situations where RESOLVE does not minimize geometric distortions sufficiently.

    With the additional purchase of the Simultaneous Multi-Slice license (either individually or by selecting Turbo Suite Excelerate) you can use SMS to reduce the total scan time of the BLADE diffusion. Siemens Healthineers exclusive feature.
