Physician and Technologist Fellowships

These peer-to-peer training sessions are held at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, United States, for physicians and technologists with a fundamental knowledge of nuclear medicine who would like to improve proficiency and enhance reading skills with the latest Biograph mCT Flow™* and the Symbia Intevo** xSPECT** system.

Please contact your local Siemens representative for more information on participation in one of the fellowships outlined below.

Symbia Intevo

Three Day Program

Training will review the latest technological advancements with xSPECT and will accelerate proficiency in image interpretation. Course will include xSPECT image acquisition, image display and processing, and discussions on how to add xSPECT applications into routine clinical imaging protocols. Participants will review an extensive case library with experienced physicians and interpret xSPECT cases, including new quantification** capabilities.

Four Day Program
Training will review the latest technological advancements with xSPECT and will accelerate proficiency in image interpretation. Course will include xSPECT image acquisition, image display and processing, and discussions on how to add xSPECT applications into routine clinical imaging protocols. Participants will review an extensive case library with experienced physicians and interpret xSPECT cases, including new quantification** capabilities. The four-day program includes general case review of SPECT/CT cases, and is recommended for physicians with no experience with SPECT/CT.

Biograph mCT Flow

Three Day Training
Training will review the latest in Biograph PET/CT technologies and clinical applications including FlowMotion™ technology. Topics will cover how to maximize FlowMotion in the clinical setting with using “zone” protocols, variable resolutions, and variable scan speed. All the latest system features are available for training and can be included based on customer needs. Participants will review an extensive case library with experienced physicians in both PET/CT and FlowMotion.

Four Day Training
Training will review the latest in PET/CT technology and clinical applications including FlowMotion technology. Topics will cover how to maximize FlowMotion in the clinical setting with using “zone” protocols, variable resolutions and variable scan speed. All the latest system features are available for training and can be included based on customer needs. The 4-day program includes training dedicated to syngio®.via.

Ten Day Training
This course will immerse participants in PET/CT and enhance understanding, improve knowledge and reading skills in PET/CT. Training will review the latest in PET/CT technology including FlowMotion as well as educate physicians on clinical applications, reconstructions, and image interpretation. Topics will cover how to maximize FlowMotion in the clinical setting with using “zone” protocols, variable resolutions and variable scan speed. All the latest system features are available for training and can be included based on customer needs. This program also includes training dedicated to syngio.via.

Intevo Clinical

Three Day Training
The objective of this course is to train technologists on how to optimize setup, image acquisition, and reconstruction time using continuous bed motion in uniquely different ways when compared to conventional step and shoot. The course will include hands on training with image acquisition and data processing. Participants will learn how to setup organ and zone specific protocols for customized patient imaging. They will be trained on variable resolution and bed speeds for reconstructions and observe workflow adjustments with FlowMotion.
