Siemens Healthineers hosted the inaugural NAEOTOM Alpha Summit in ASEAN – a milestone moment that will redefine the future of computed tomography in Southeast Asia.
It was an inspiring day spent with our esteemed pioneering customers from across ASEAN, as we came together to explore the real-world impact of photon-counting CT technology on patients, clinical workflows, and the future of diagnostic imaging.
The event opened with a welcome address by Rami Politis, Head of CT, ASEAN; Surajkumar Chandrasekharan, Head of DI, ASEAN, and, Steven Bell, Regional Business Area Head, APJ, who reflected on the significance of this first ASEAN gathering dedicated to photon-counting CT and recognized the visionary role played by early adopters in advancing clinical excellence in the region.
Following which, we had Dr. Matthias Lichy, Siemens Healthineers AG, Germany introduce the NAEOTOM Alpha Class to the attendees.
Throughout the day, participants heard from distinguished global experts, including
- Prof. Dr. Hajime Sakuma, Professor and Chairman, Dept. Of Radiology, Mie University Faculty of Medicine, Japan, who shared insights on the topic “Revolutionizing Cardiovascular Imaging with Photon Counting CT and Enhancing Coronary Visualization”
- Prof. Jiří Ferda, Professor of Radiology, Head of the Department of the Imaging Methods, University Hospital Pilsen, Czech Republic, who share insights on the topic “Photon Counting CT: Impact of increased precision in routine imaging”
