6th World AVM Congress and SNVIS Annual Scientific Meeting 2026March 5 - 7, 2026 | National University Hospital (NUH) Auditorium | On-site Event

Siemens Healthineers will be participating in the 6th World AVM Congress, held in conjunction with the SNVIS (Society of Neurovascular Interventions & Surgery - Singapore) Scientific Congress, from 5th to 7th March 2026.

Themed "Innovation, Collaboration & Transformation in neurovascular therapies", it will bring together thought leaders, clinicians, researchers, and innovators from around the world to share the latest advances, emerging therapies, and groundbreaking research in the management of arteriovenous malformations (AVMs).

Join us at our Masterclass and Conference Booth to find out more about about our latest product innovations and solutions for interventional radiologists.

Masterclass

ARTIS pheno for Interventional Radiology

Date: Saturday, March 7, 2026
Time: 08:30am - 12:30pm
Venue: NUH Main Building, Level 2, Department of Diagnostic Imaging Seminar Room/IR Suite

Highlights:

1. Workstation-based Hands-on Training: An in depth discussion of contemporary approaches to AVM management covering advanced image acquisition to interpretation. This will be followed by hands-on training on real cases from Essen, allowing delegates to get proficient with the processing of 4D and 6D angiographic studies.

2. Hands-on Embolisation Training: Hands-on embolisation sessions using complex AVM flow models derived from real cases, enabling participants to refine technical skills in managing challenging AVMs.

Rene Chapot

Professor René Chapot is a globally recognized leader in the field of interventional neuroradiology, known for advancing the endovascular treatment of cerebrovascular diseases. He has introduced numerous innovations that have significantly advanced the field of neurointervention. His contributions include refining and expanding the Pressure Cooker Technique and Reverse Pressure Cooker Technique for safer and more effective AVM embolization, pioneering the transvenous approach for AVM treatment, advancing aneurysm management through double balloon techniques and specialized stent configurations, and developing the 6D imaging protocol to enhance the understanding of complex vascular malformations. Through the ALICE Congress, he has also helped shape guidelines that push the boundaries of mechanical thrombectomy with a strong scientific foundation.

Boonrerk

Dr Boonrerk Sangpetngam is a Consultant Interventional Neuroradiologist at the Department of Radiology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand. His clinical practice focuses on endovascular treatment of cerebrovascular diseases, including acute ischemic stroke thrombectomy, intracranial aneurysm therapy, and the management of complex arteriovenous shunts and malformations. A core faculty member of the Siriraj Center of Interventional Radiology (SICIR), he plays a key role in developing comprehensive neurovascular programs, integrating advanced imaging techniques such as cone‑beam CT angiography, and introducing innovative device technologies into clinical practice. Dr Sangpetngam is actively involved in medical education, international collaboration, and research aimed at procedural optimisation and improving clinical outcomes in neurointervention.
