Presented by Luc Lavoie, Head of Service in Canada at Siemens Healthineers. Luc has been leading the country's Service team for 12 years following a career in medical radiation sciences and equipment project management. The service team in Canada continues to grow, and Luc will share how students can prepare for a wonderful career in a rapidly growing industry.

As the Country Service Lead of Siemens Healthineers, Luc Lavoie is responsible for the overall strategic direction and management of the Canadian Service organization. Providing the most comprehensive portfolio of In-Vivo and In-Vitro diagnostic systems & services, Siemens Healthineers is leveraging its legacy of innovation and engineering expertise to be a leading healthcare solutions partner.


Mr. Lavoie has over 33 years of service, marketing and general management experience in the healthcare industry both within the public and private sector. Most recently he was the Director of Project Management of Siemens Healthcare in Canada before being appointed Country Service Lead of Siemens Healthcare in 2010. Luc’s successful track record of business and change management is based on customer focused operational excellence.

Mr. Lavoie holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Western University, London Ontario and was a licensed Registered Medical Radiation Technologist during his 17-year hospital career.
