Siemens Healthineers also commissions service providers (data processors), such as hosting or IT maintenance service providers, which only act upon instructions of Siemens and are contractually bound to act in compliance with applicable data protection law. Your personal data are shared with Seismic Software, Inc., USA and their subcontractors.
Recipients may be located in countries outside of the Canada, in which applicable laws do not offer the same level of data protection as in Canada or the EU/European Economic Area.
In such cases, Siemens Healthineers takes measures to ensure an appropriate level of data protection, such that your personal data are shared with external recipients in other countries only if the recipient has (i) entered into EU Standard Contractual Clauses, (ii) implemented Binding Corporate Rules in its organization or (iii) – in case of USA recipients – the recipient is certified under the Privacy Shield.
