At the heart of this innovation is DryCool technology, which reduces helium requirements to just 0.7 litres, down from the traditional 600 to 1,500 litres. Eliminating the need for a quench pipe, MAGNETOM Flow. Platform is the most compact 1.5T scanner, only requiring 25 square meters in footprint for operations. This platform is well-suited for a variety of healthcare environments, from urban hospitals to remote community clinics. Despite its size, it offers a full 60 cm bore and comprehensive support for the full range of MRI applications.
Efficient workflow and clinical performance
AI-powered image reconstruction helps reduce scan times by up to 50 per cent, enabling faster, more efficient exams while maintaining excellent image quality. The MAGNETOM Flow. Platform enables technologists to conduct exams directly at the patient’s side—from registration to positioning to scan initiation. Flexible coils that conform like a blanket, paired with new sensors for automatic positioning, further enhance patient comfort and reduce setup time.
