Siemens Healthineers is pleased to invite you to join us for our Blood Gas Demo Day on June 4th, 2024.
We will be on-site at Saint Paul’s Hospital for the day to demo and answer questions regarding our Blood Gas analyzers:
- Handheld Blood Gas analyzer: epoc® Blood Analysis System
- Benchtop Blood Gas analyzer: RAPIDPoint® 500e

We will be there for the entire day hosting a Morning and an Afternoon session in 2 different rooms.
This will be a drop-in format - please select the Session that works best for you (Morning or Afternoon) and come by anytime within the session you sign up for.- Morning Session = 8:00am - 12:45pm PST (Education Room 1550)
- Afternoon Session = 1:15pm - 4:00pm PST (Cullen Family Lecture Theatre)

SIEMENS ATTENDEES
- Karine Hébert – Point of Care Solution Specialist
Karine graduated in 1997 as an MLT and spent multiple years working at the Montreal Children’s Hospital in the NICU, ER and Critical Care Lab department as the “night shift blood gas tech”. In parallel, she worked 17 years teaching biochemistry, quality assurance, blood collection and pathology for the MLT program in the province of Quebec. Four years ago, she transitioned from the lab and academic areas to join Siemens, with the goal of sharing her experience, knowledge and passion for blood gas with others. - Roy Chen – Point of Care Solution Specialist
A registered MLT since 2010 who worked in various roles within the local health authorities in the past decade. Notable roles and sites included Technical Coordinator at the Royal Columbian Hospital and Research Coordinator at the Vancouver General Hospital. He also completed an MSc graduate degree training with UBC and St Paul’s Hospital in 2016.
