Technical Details

Track Modules X (MTS)

Description: Controls the motion of sample tubes along FlexLab X, passing through all areas: Check-in, Pre-analytical, Analytical, Post-analytical, and Output-Area
Throughput: Up to 15,525 tubes per hour

Input/Output Module Open Access (IOX Open Access)

Description: Allows the loading and unloading of sample tubes located in Inpeco or third-party racks onto and from the automation system
Throughput: 1000 tubes per hour loading, 600 tubes per hour unloading with tubes orientation

Bulk Input Module (BIMX)

Description: Allows direct loading of capped sample tubes onto the automation track without using racks
Throughput: Up to 1200 tubes per hour

Rack Input Module (RIMX)

Description: Allows sample tube input via racks. Provides barcode tube identification and tube type identification
Throughput: Up to 1000 tubes per hour

Centrifuge Module (CMX)

Description: Automates the process of blood sample separation
Throughput: Up to 300 tubes per hour

Mixer Module (MMX)

Description: Automates the mixing process for samples that must be homogenized before analysis (e.g., complete blood cells count, erythrocyte sedimentation rate)
Throughput: Up to 700 tubes per hour

Sample Integrity Module X (SIMX)

Description: Used to detect the volume and upper and lower levels of serum/plasma and to estimate the serum hemolysis, icterus, and lipemia (HIL) indexes
Throughput: Up to 650 tubes per hour

Decapper Module X (DCX)

Description: Automates the decapping of all sample tube types allowed on FlexLab X

Description: Allows automatic sealing of plastic sample tubes after analytical processing

Description: Automates the process of storing sample tubes for backup, further analysis, or possible reruns in a temperature-controlled, protected environment

Desealer Module X (DSX)

Description: Automates removal of aluminum sealing foil from sample tubes
