Atellica® Integrated Automation and integrated decapping: Do more with less.

Atellica® Integrated Automation consolidates revolutionary sample management technology, intelligent software, and IT to provide workflow efficiency with the flexibility to integrate decapping with little or no additional footprint.

Virtual Demonstration

Watch the video with Matt Kay providing a virtual demonstration of our new Atellica Integrated Automation solution, now featuring our novel integrated decapper technology.

Siemens Healthineers continues to invest in innovation for the Atellica Solution.

Atellica® Decapper

Integrate decapping into the analytical workflow of Atellica Solution1 with little or no additional footprint.

How does the decapper work?
Up to 400 capped tubes can be loaded on the Atellica® Sample Handler at one time. The integrated decapper then automatically removes the caps ready for the tube to be transported via the Atellica® Magline to the analysers. The decapper is validated for the majority of the tubes that can be loaded on the Atellica® Solution*.

How many Decappers can be installed?
Up to three Atellica® Decappers can be integrated into a single Atellica® Solution configuration in any of three locations, and this is determined by the workflow needs of the lab. The decapper can be installed at the initial installation or added later to existing configurations.

What is the maximum tube throughput with Atellica® Decapper?
If the decapper is located between the Atellica® Sample Handler and first analyser: up to 300 tubes per hour, and if positioned between any two analysers or at the end: up to 500 tubes per hour.

What additional footprint is needed to integrate the Atellica® Decapper?
Located between the Atellica® Sample Handler and the first analyser:
No additional footprint is required.
Located between any two analysers or at the end:
A footprint of 25.4 cm additional width is required.

Built-in revolutionary sample management technology provides independent control over chemistry and immunoassay STAT and routine samples.

Sorting and Archiving

Built-in, automatic, specific sample sorting combines with retrieval and archiving functions to manage samples throughout all phases of testing (pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical) and to help reduce manual interventions, standardize lab procedures, and minimize turnaround time outliers.

Atellica® Solution features built-in, sophisticated yet simple software that seamlessly connects with your existing LIS. This robust suite makes it easy to run your laboratory operations.

Atellica Asa operator tablet

Tile-based tablet application that organizes and prioritizes operator tasks by quickly and simply streamlining laboratory workflow.

Transforming care delivery with sophisticated, smart workflows with less human intervention and data-driven insight.
