We will not collect any personal data about you (e.g. your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address) through our websites or otherwise, unless you voluntarily choose to provide us with it (e.g. by registration or survey), provide your consent, or unless we are otherwise permitted by applicable laws on data privacy protection and data security.
The personal information we collect and hold is information required for us to communicate with you or to enable you to work with us as a customer, supplier, job applicant or employee. Such personal information may be your contact and payment details, date of birth or your trading, credit or working history. In some instances sensitive information such as health information may be collected if it is required for us to perform a service, or in the case of a job application, if it is a requirement of the position.
We usually collect personal information directly from you, for example when you complete an application form, deal with us over the phone, send us a letter, use our website, respond to a survey or otherwise through interactions with us and our affiliated companies or service providers. Sometimes information may be collected from a third party that provides credit, compliance and security checks if this information is necessary to enable us to work with you.

- We may store and process personal data and share it with our worldwide affiliates to better understand your business needs and how we can provide our products and services, and enhance our offerings to suit your business needs; or
- We (or a third party on our behalf) may use personal data to contact you about an offer or product in support of your business needs or to conduct online surveys to better understand our customers’ needs.
Also in this context, the “Siemens Healthineers Business Partner Privacy Notice” contains additional information about collection and use of personal information regarding relationships with business partners. This notice is available for download at the end of this page.

"Cookies" – Information Stored Automatically on Your Computer
When you view one of our websites, we may store some data on your computer in the form of a "cookie" to automatically recognize your PC next time you visit. Cookies can help us in many ways, for example, by allowing us to tailor a website to better match your interests or to store your password to save you having to re-enter it each time. If you do not wish to receive cookies, please configure your Internet browser to erase all cookies from your computer's hard-drive, block all cookies or to receive a warning before a cookie is stored.
We may ourselves, or by external companies, place text or code (such as cookies or pixels) on our websites that collects information on usage-based online advertising; this is also known as "targeting." For this purpose, we may collect and store anonymised data on our website. The code so stored on your computer collects information about your activities on the websites you have visited (e.g., surfing behaviour, sub-pages visited, ad banners clicked, etc.). Based on this data, a profile can be generated, however you as the user cannot be personally identified; in particular, the IP address you use is not stored.
Your computer is then identified for purposes of advertising delivery and assigned to a target group. This information makes it possible to display advertising that is more relevant to you on the websites of other providers.

For example, we share your personal information with affiliated companies in other countries only when they have implemented our Binding Corporate Rules (BCR) for the protection of personal data. Information about the BCR is available for download at the end of this page.
