20 October 2025 –Siemens Healthineers, a global leader in medical innovation provider, reinforces its commitment to advancing early breast cancer detection in Thailand by launching the new MAMMOMAT B.brilliant 3D mammography system. The system features PlatinumTomo technology to enhance accuracy, speed, and efficiency in breast cancer detection and diagnosis, particularly in early-stage screening, while minimizing radiation exposure. It is also designed to improve clinical workflow for healthcare professionals while enhancing comfort for patients through automatic breast compression. This marks a significant milestone in improving quality of life and reducing breast cancer mortality rates in Thailand sustainably.

Breast cancer remains a major global public health concern. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), more than 2.3 million women are diagnosed with breast cancer annually, resulting in over 670,000 deaths worldwide. In Thailand, it is the most common cancer among women, with approximately 38,559 new cases reported in 2022, according to the Ministry of Public Health. Patients diagnosed at early stages (0–I) have survival rates exceeding 90%, yet many individuals remain unaware of the importance of regular screening and rely solely on self-examination. This often leads to late-stage detection (stages II–IV), which complicates treatment and reduces survival outcomes.
