The healthcare industry generates a staggering quantity of data, accounting for almost one-third of the global data volume1. The sheer amount of data produced by healthcare providers can be daunting, often exceeding an organization's capacity to extract meaningful insights that could benefit both healthcare professionals and patients.
Siemens Healthineers is proud to announce a strategic partnership with Mayapada Healthcare to implement a groundbreaking digital transformation aimed at revolutionizing patient care through advanced medical imaging data management.
"We are excited to partner with Mayapada Healthcare on this digital transformation journey. By implementing our Centralized Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA) and Syngo Carbon IDM, we are not only enhancing the hospitals’ ability to manage medical imaging data optimally, we will also significantly improve the patient experience by offering them direct access to their own medical information, “ said Alfred Fahringer, Country Head of Siemens Healthineers Indonesia.
Seamlessly integrated with Mayapada’s Hospital Information System (HIS) and Patient Portal, this advanced solution will allow physicians to review clinical images & data through web-based Enterprise Access. By storing all image and data formats in one unified archive, clinicians across hospitals can view comprehensive clinical information around every patient within hospitals under Mayapada Healthcare’s network, which will support critically healthcare professionals of Mayapada Hospitals in making informed clinical decisions. By adopting this enterprise-wide imaging and reporting system, organizations can eliminate costly redundancies and reduce total cost of ownership by consolidating distinct software products across different clinical departments.
"Leveraging innovative technology to reduce administrative burdens and streamline workflows will assist us in delivering high-quality healthcare services,” said dr. Dini Handayani, MARS, FISQUA, FIPC, Chief Medical Officer of Mayapada Healthcare. “As technology continues to advance, we are constantly looking for new opportunities to adopt it in order to strengthen Mayapada Healthcare’s commitment to provide patient-centric care.” added dr. Dini.
“This collaboration underscores our shared vision of leveraging innovative digital technology solutions between our two great organizations to improve patient outcomes and elevate the standard of care, ultimately benefitting the patients of Indonesia.“ added Alfred.
