Siemens Healthineers has embarked on an exciting journey with Dr. Suliman Alhabib Medical Group to introduce innovative solutions and state-of-the-art technologies to the Region.

Back in March, The medical engineering arm of Dr.Suliman Alhabib medical group has teamed up with Siemens Healthineers to further develop oncology and radiology services starting from the largest private healthcare facility in the region – in Al Khobar city – with state-of-the –art Nuclear medicine department and MRI suite. This project included the latest technologies of Siemens Healthineers recently introduced to the global diagnostic imaging market aiming to improve patient experience, expand precision medicine and digitalize healthcare.

Despite COVID-19 pandemic and the challenges it imposed on the execution of work, Siemens Healthineers team with a smart project plan jointly crafted with the HMG’s medical engineering arm were able to deliver the systems on-time and install it within 48 consecutive hours !

Inside the nuclear medicine department, Siemens Healthineers has installed the Biograph Vision PET-CT1) with Digital Technology that is the first to be installed in the region, opening a whole new world of precision. The Biograph Vision has the industry’s fastest time-of-flight and is also equipped with Siemens Healthineers unique FlowMotionTM technology for personalized PET exams by tailoring protocols based on patient anatomy and disease. Additionally, the nuclear medicine department includes the well-known Symbia Intevo SPECT-CT2) system geared with the industry’s best image quality and highest SPECT sensitivity enabling this industry to transcend to the next stage of services through the specialized healthcare professionals in Dr.Suliman Alhabib medical group, and to move faster to a confident diagnosis and a successful treatment strategy.

On the other hand, the MRI3) suite has been installed with Siemens Healthineers’ flagship system in MRI, the MAGNETOM Sola- a newly introduced member to the 1.5 Tesla MRI family in the region, equipped with the BioMatrixTM technology that adjusts automatically to each patient’s body offering an extra level of comfort during scanning. And because patients have unique individual characteristics – bio-variabilities, different physiologies and anatomies, the BioMatrixTM technology powered by Artificial Intelligence helps overcoming these challenges by embracing human nature to personalize examinations and expand precision medicine. The MAGNETOM Sola is equipped with advance acceleration techniques to reduce scan time dramatically for all contrasts, orientations, and body regions. It also, enables the dynamic body imaging under free-breathing protocol.

Since the patient experience is a focal point in everything we do at Siemens Healthineers, the MAGNETOM Sola also features the InnovisionTM which redefines the MRI patient experience using a revolutionary in-bore infotainment solution. the InnovisionTM provides the patient with multimedia entertainment integrated with the MRI suite environment to eliminate the feeling of anxiety that some patients may have during MR examinations.

Siemens Healthineers Saudi Arabia CEO Mr. Michel Atallah has highlighted the importance of this strategic project which is looked at as a cornerstone in building the long-term and strategic partnership with Dr. Suliman Alhabib Medical Group being the pioneer in the healthcare sector in the kingdom. From its side, the senior management of Dr. Suliman Alhabib Medical Group has expressed its intention to build on this step that will further elevate the healthcare services in Saudi Arabia and together contribute to the realization of Saudi Arabia vision 2030.
