New clinical case studies

99mTc MDP SPECT/CT imaging in the evaluation of pediatric McCune-Albright syndrome
A seven-year-old female with café-au-lait skin spots, poly-fibrous dysplasia, and early on-set puberty underwent 99mTc MDP bone imaging with xSPECT BoneTM performed on a Symbia IntevoTM SPECT/CT scanner. This case demonstrates the use of xSPECT BoneTM technology to help detect abnormal skeletal metabolism in the evaluation of McCune-Albright syndrome.

99mTc MDP SPECT/CT imaging in the evaluation of mandibular osteomyelitis severity
A 67-year-old female with chronic pain and limited movement in her right temporo-mandibular joint along with difficulty opening her jaw underwent a 99mTc MDP bone study on a Symbia IntevoTM SPECT/CT scanner. This case demonstrates the use of xSPECT QuantTM to help evaluate the severity of mandibular osteomyelitis.
Incidental findings of COVID-19 in PET/CT imaging
A 75-year-old male with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma underwent PET/CT imaging on a Biograph mCT FlowTM scanner to assess residual disease. The patient was referred for COVID-19 testing due to suspicious hypermetabolic parenchymal foci in the lungs. This case reviews PET/CT in a differential diagnosis of COVID-19 within incidental findings.

Single-bed, whole-body 68Ga DOTATATE PET/CT delineation of neuroendocrine tumor metastases
A 74-year-old male with a primary duodenal tumor underwent
68Ga DOTATATE PET/CT staging. This case demonstrates the role of the Biograph Vision QuadraTM in the evaluation of somatostatin-receptor density within neuroendocrine tumor metastases to help define metastatic burden and inform radionuclide therapy planning.
