About the speaker
Dr Ma Kris Tan is a pulmonologist with Philippines General Hospital. She has key expertise in the areas of arterial blood gases, obstructive airway disease, and anticoagulation pathways, and has published papers on such papers amongst others. Dr Tan has been a certified member on the board of Philippines College of Chest Physicians since 2017.
About the presentation
In this symposium, “Reading between the A-lines: common challenges with ABG interpretation”, Dr Tan will address the common challenges faced with arterial blood gas testing and subsequent interpretation. Dr Tan will also delve into the importance behind having a comprehensive panel of parameters available in short TATs, and the benefits of decentralizing ABG testing with point of care blood gas solutions.
