  • Siemens Healthineers and Thien Hanh General Hospital sign Comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
  • First SOMATOM Force VB30 CT and 3.0 Tesla MAGNETOM Lumina MRI systems officially launched in the Central Highlands

The signing ceremony was held at Thien Hanh General Hospital with the participation of more than 150 representatives, including the hospital’s leadership team, doctors, healthcare experts, and medical technologists from hospitals and medical centers across Đắk Lắk Province; leading specialists from University Medical Center Ho Chi Minh City; as well as the management team of Siemens Healthineers Vietnam.

Under the signed agreement, Siemens Healthineers will work closely with Thien Hanh General Hospital across hospital development and branding initiatives, scientific collaboration, and knowledge transfer. This partnership is guided by a long-term vision to enhance healthcare quality in the Central Highlands, enabling local communities to access advanced diagnostic and treatment services closer to home.

Specifically, the collaboration will focus on:

  • Bringing advanced medical technologies from Germany into clinical practice, supporting early detection and precise treatment for patients.
  • Cooperating on advanced clinical education to strengthen the expertise and professional capabilities of doctors and healthcare specialists.
  • Jointly implementing clinical marketing and branding activities, with Thien Hanh General Hospital serving as Siemens Healthineers’ National Reference Site in the Central Highlands.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr. Tran Minh Dau, Chairman of Thien Hanh General Hospital, stated: “Choosing to partner with Siemens Healthineers, a global leader in medical technology, reflects our trust, vision, and strong commitment to continuously bringing advanced medical technologies closer to patients in the Central Highlands.”

As part of the program, Thien Hanh General Hospital officially put into operation two advanced imaging systems from Siemens Healthineers: the SOMATOM Force VB30 CT and the 3.0 Tesla MAGNETOM Lumina MRI. These systems are expected to further strengthen Thien Hanh’s core clinical services, particularly Obstetrics & Gynecology and Assisted Reproductive Technology (IVF), enhancing diagnostic accuracy and improving the hospital’s capability to manage high-risk pregnancies as well as complex infertility cases.

Speaking at the ceremony, Fabian Martin Singer, General Manager of Siemens Healthineers Vietnam, said: “In regions like Đắk Lắk, healthcare challenges are shaped not only by clinical needs, but also by geography. Accessing advanced care often requires long and exhausting journeys by car, overnight bus, or flight to Ho Chi Minh City. By introducing the SOMATOM Force VB30 and MAGNETOM Lumina systems, Thien Hanh General Hospital is setting new standards for advanced radiology, delivering tangible benefits to patients across the Central Highlands.”

As part of the program, Thien Hanh General Hospital also hosted a scientific symposium titled “The Role of Medical Imaging in Hepatobiliary Diseases, Stroke, and Coronary Artery Disease,” featuring leading experts from University Medical Center Ho Chi Minh City. The symposium focused on discussing clinical applications of advanced CT and MRI technologies in diagnosis and treatment, contributing to the enhancement of professional capacity among healthcare practitioners in the region.

The signing of the comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding between Siemens Healthineers and Thien Hanh General Hospital not only marks an important milestone in the partnership between the two organizations but also opens a long-term pathway to enhance the quality of diagnosis, treatment, and medical education in the Central Highlands. Through the combination of advanced medical technologies, knowledge transfer, and scientific collaboration, the partnership is expected to help narrow regional disparities in healthcare access, delivering meaningful and sustainable benefits for patients in the local community and neighboring areas.
