- Siemens Healthineers and Phuong Dong General Hospital signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to adopt the latest cutting-edge technologies to enhance diagnosis, treatment, and clinical outcomes in the country.
- The partnership signifies a commitment to shape the future of healthcare by setting new standards of quality, affordability, and accessibility for patients in Vietnam.
During the European Congress of Radiology 2025, Siemens Healthineers and Phuong Dong General Hospital signed a strategic partnership agreement, marking a significant milestone in advancing medical technology to improve diagnosis, treatment, and clinical outcomes for patients in Vietnam. This collaboration is expected to elevate Vietnam’s healthcare sector to regional prominence and align it with international standards.
Through this agreement, Siemens Healthineers will support Phuong Dong General Hospital in implementing the latest AI-powered medical technologies in diagnostic imaging. These technologies include the MAGNETOM Lumina, MAMMOMAT Inspiration, MAMMOMAT Fusion, SOMATOM go.Top, and the soon-to-be installed NAEOTOM Alpha - the world’s first photon-counting CT1. These innovations will enhance diagnostic accuracy and safety, optimize treatment effectiveness, and reduce costs for patients in Vietnam.
Beyond technology transfer, the partnership will focus knowledge transfer services, scientific collaborations, clinical marketing and branding. Notably, the collaboration will emphasize cardiovascular and oncology diagnostics – two critical areas in Vietnam’s healthcare landscape.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Fabian Martin Singer, General Manager of Siemens Healthineers Vietnam, stated: “We believe this collaboration will significantly improve healthcare quality in Vietnam through the integration of advanced technologies. It lays a strong foundation for Phuong Dong General Hospital to incorporate cutting-edge equipment into clinical practice, ultimately delivering high-quality medical services to patients.”
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Viet, Chairman of the Members’ Council of Phuong Dong Medical Complex Co., Ltd, further affirmed: “As part of our commitment to developing an internationally accredited hospital, we are dedicated to adopting advanced medical technologies to enhance diagnostic and treatment services. Our collaboration with Siemens Healthineers enables us to integrate world-class medical solutions, strengthening our hospital’s reputation in Vietnam and positioning it as a trusted choice for patients from abroad looking for high-quality care.”
This partnership represents a crucial step forward in the collaboration between the two organizations in the country. It further underscores Siemens Healthineers’ commitment to supporting healthcare providers in Vietnam and actively contributing towards driving the country’s emergence as a critical medical hub in the region.
