Women’s Health - Mammography Basics and Breast Positioning

This course is designed to enhance the Technologists knowledge in Women’s Health, with a major focus on Mammography Essentials, Breast Positioning and Mammography workflow. Videos are used to aid positioning skills.

Course content

Technologists will:

Demonstrate proficiency in positioning skills

Demonstrate radiation safety practices by following the ALARA principle

Identify required criteria for routine radiographic images

Apply basic patient care skills

Enhance their knowledge with Breast Anatomy and Breast Pathology
