A 63-year-old man with a history of coronary artery disease and atherosclerotic narrowing of carotid vessels presented with occasional chest pain along with a fever of long duration. In view of the possibility of diffuse cardiovascular disease, the patient underwent PET/CT performed on a Biograph™ mCT. Following a low-dose non-contrast CT, a whole-body PET scan was performed from the top of head to the upper thigh.
