A coronary and a carotid CT angiography was requested to rule out coronary and/ or carotid artery disease in 55-year old male patient.

A 55-year-old male patient, with atypical chest pain, syncope, hyperlipidemia, and a family history of coronary artery disease (CAD), underwent a treadmill test. This was inconclusive due to a left-bundle branch block. A coronary and a carotid CT angiography (CTA) were requested by the referring physician to rule out coronary and/ or carotid artery disease.

The outcomes by Siemens Healthineers customers described herein are based on results that were achieved in the customer’s unique setting. Since there is no “typical” hospital and many variables exist (e.g., hospital size, case mix, level of IT adoption) there can be no guarantee that other customers will achieve the same results.
