Conventional Doppler
Slow flow - renal imaging
As a Siemens Healthineers customer, we would like to remind you of one of our favourite features on your ACUSON Sequoia.
Slow flow state supplements conventional Doppler techniques to provide information rich imaging of smaller, slower flow and challenging vessels. Smart filters detect and label slower flow signals that would otherwise be excluded by conventional Doppler velocity cut offs.

Breast imaging – eSieCalcs
Use eSieCalcs software to quantify area, volume and maximum diameter measurements using a border detection algorithm for fast and accurate lesion differentiation.
Select eSieCalcs in the MORE section of the caliper page. Expand your region of interest box over the lesion using the set keys.

Breast imaging – Shear Wave Elastography (2D SWE)
Increase confidence when making interventional decisions.
2D SWE provides another dimension to quantitative shear wave imaging with colour-coded shear wave maps for the 18L6 and 10L4 transducers for breast.
Quantitative data can be added by selecting the caliper key, placing the region of interest circle over the selected tissue and setting it to obtain stiffness quantification value.

InFocus Technologies
The ACUSON Sequoia with BioAcoustic technology enables automatic image optimisation for image uniformity throughout the field of view using InFocus technologies.
With aesthetically pleasing speckle and improved spatial and contrast resolution, the near and far fields of the ultrasound image are simultaneously clear to facilitate fast, accurate and confident clinical diagnosis in hepatic and renal tissues.
