The SOMATOM go. platform is well equipped to help you with them as well. At the core of their design the scanners of the platform enable lower electrical consumption compared to previous models4) and may even allow for reduction of the contrast media using the High Power technology.

3In clinical practice, the use of SAFIRE may reduce CT patient dose depending on the clinical task, patient size, anatomical location, and clinical practice. A consultation with a radiologist and a physicist should be made to determine the appropriate dose to obtain diagnostic image quality for the particular clinical task.
